Join us on our food tour to taste the various dishes of the Arab world within the city of Anaheim, CA. Located near Disneyland is one of the most underrated ethnic food destinations, The Little Arabia District, where we will devour flavorful flatbreads from the Levant, the freshest falafel from Filistin (Palestine), savory sweets from Syria, and much more! As we explore the district on foot, you will learn about different Arab cuisines and immerse yourself in the ancient cultures of the Middle East.
People of the Middle East are professionals in the art of hospitality. Every guest is treated with the highest honor, and hospitality is commonly expressed through food. It’s not unusual to be invited to a random persons home for food, coffee, and great conversation. Our tour is curated to share that unique hospitable experience with you, without traveling to the Mid East. Through food, we hope to improve understanding and communication between different cultures. Together, we will break barriers while we break bread.
The Little Arabia District is an ethnic enclave in Orange County, California. It is the center for Orange County’s Arab-American community. Located by Disneyland and Knott's Berry Farm, the district is centered on Brookhurst Street in Anaheim, near the Santa Ana Freeway (I-5) between La Palma Avenue and Katella Avenue. Businesses include halal butcher shops, beauty salons, jewelry stores, Arabic and Islamic clothes, travel agencies, bakeries, Arab and Armenian restaurants, and hookah cafes. There are also numerous Mosques and a few churches in the enclave.
